CPR + AED Course
National Resuscitation Council (NRC, Singapore) accredited Training Centre |
Introduction
The CPR+AED is a 4-hour course comprising of the Adult CPR and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
modules. It aims to provide participants with the knowledge and essential practical skills to perform correct and effective CPR while integrating the use
of defibrillator, with the proper techniques and precautions, to shock a victim’s heart back to normal heart rhythm. Hence, explains the importance of CPR
and AED working together to increase the chances of survival for a victim who has collapsed.
Participants will be taught how to assess the Cardiac arrest casualty promptly and provide resuscitative measures consistent with the first 3 links
of the Chain of Survival – where speed and accuracy are critical in determining the casualty’s survival.
Successful candidates will be awarded with a CPR+AED certificate accredited by National Resuscitation Council (NRC, Singapore) with 2-year
validity. |
