Athletic Cardiac Health Screen The Athletic Cardiac Health Screen (ACHS) is designed as a basic cardiac screen for students engaging in athletic activities.  This service provides greater assurance to schools and parents who are concerned with students participating in rigourous physical activity.  The key components of this screen are a thorough history, a cardiac physical examination by a doctor and an  electrocardiograph (ECG) trace.
