HUMAN FACTORS AND CRM FOR MILITARY AIRCREW COURSE (1 DAY)
The complex human-machine and human-human interfaces of military flying under time and
mission pressure is always a cognitive challenge for pilots and aircrew. This course provides
aircrew with the fundamental knowledge and insight into the cognitive human factors aspects
of military flying.
At the end of this course, the participant is expected to acquire:

Awareness of the cognitive human factors issues in flying.
•
An overview of cognitive human factors aspects such as attention, memory, teamwork,
information procession, CRM, Situation Awareness;
•
Working knowledge on prevention, recognition and management of stress and fatigue.
•
Valuable lessons in cognitive human factors and Crew Resources Management/ Cockpit
Resources Management/ Total Resources Management by reviewing relevant case
studies.
